Pricing

Simple, transparent pricing.

One flat annual subscription, a one-time onboarding fee, and a per-transaction fee on registrations and sponsorships that you control — or a flat rate on recurring monthly billing for programs like studio tuition. No per-seat charges, no hidden tiers.

Worked example

A $150 registration fee, both ways.

Your organization sets the registration fee. The transaction fee is calculated on that amount, and you choose who pays it from your dashboard's Billing page.

Scenario
Payer pays
Your organization nets
You absorb the feeThe default. Fee is deducted from your payout.
$150.00No fee shown at checkout
$144.00$150.00 minus the $6.00 fee
You pass the fee throughFee is added as a separate checkout line item.
$156.00$150.00 registration + $6.00 fee
$150.00Your full listed price, every time
Recurring billing pricing

A flat rate for ongoing monthly programs.

Any program can be set to recurring monthly billing instead of a one-time fee — the fit for dance studio tuition, martial arts membership dues, and similar ongoing charges. Stripe's recurring billing only supports a percentage-based fee, not the flat-cents component the one-time rate uses, so recurring programs carry a flat 5% fee on each successful monthly charge instead.

Recurring monthly charge
5%of each successful monthly charge
  • Charged only when a monthly payment succeeds
  • Always absorbed by your organization, deducted from your payout
  • No pass-through option — families are charged exactly your listed price
Merch store pricing

A different fee model, on purpose.

The merch store's per-item fee doesn't work like the registration fee above. If you absorb it, it's deducted from your payout the same way. If you pass it through, it's baked directly into the item's displayed price — rounded up to the nearest dollar — so a buyer never sees a separate "service fee" line at merch checkout. You always receive your listed price either way.

FAQ

Billing questions

What's included in the $299 onboarding fee?

A Pathfinder rep helps you connect your domain, set up your organization's Stripe account, and build out your first season and program — so you launch with a working, ready-to-open site instead of starting from a blank dashboard.

What does the $599/year subscription include?

Full platform access for your organization: unlimited seasons, programs, and teams, digital waivers, the merch store, sponsorship tools, and every dashboard role. There's no per-seat or per-program charge on top of it.

How does the 3.5% + $0.75 transaction fee work?

It applies to registration and sponsorship payments only, and it's calculated per transaction. From Billing, choose whether your organization absorbs it (deducted from your payout, payer sees the sticker price) or passes it through to the payer (added on top as a separate checkout line item).

Does the merch store have its own fee?

Yes, and it works differently by design: merch's per-item fee is either baked directly into the item's displayed price — rounded up to the nearest dollar so buyers never see a separate fee line at checkout — or deducted from your payout if you choose to absorb it instead.

How does pricing work for recurring monthly billing?

Programs set to recurring monthly billing — studio tuition, membership dues, and similar ongoing fees — carry a flat 5% fee on each successful monthly charge instead of the 3.5% + $0.75 one-time rate. It's always absorbed by your organization and deducted from your payout; there's no option to pass it through to the payer, so the price you set is exactly what families pay every month.

Can we cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard's Billing page, which opens Stripe's own billing portal — no email or phone call required.

Is there a cost to explore the platform before subscribing?

No. Create your organization, set up branding, and explore the dashboard for free. Nothing is charged until you start your subscription from Billing.

Ready to see it in your own organization?

Create your organization and explore the dashboard — nothing is charged until you subscribe.
