Who it's for

Built for the Foley, AL youth sports community

Foley sits at the center of Baldwin County's youth sports growth, home to one of the region's largest youth sports tourism complexes and a fast-growing base of local recreational leagues. Whether you're running a neighborhood rec league or a travel program that hosts visiting teams, registration and payments still need to work the same way every weekend.

It works the same whether your organization is a single-sport recreational league, a multi-sport association, a competitive travel program, or a municipal parks and recreation department running several youth sports at once.

What you get

Everything your league needs, in one platform

Every part of running a season — the public-facing side and the back-office side — lives in the same system, so nothing has to be re-entered twice.

A branded website on your own domain

Publish a professional site for your league or association with your colors, logo, programs, news, and sponsors — on a custom domain with automatic DNS verification and HTTPS, no separate web host required.

Online registration & digital waivers

Collect player and guardian information, medical notes, allergies, and school details through a guided registration flow. Liability waivers are versioned and e-signed, with every signature time-stamped and tied to the exact wording the signer agreed to.

Payments and payouts through Stripe

Registration fees, sponsorship deals, and merch orders are collected through your organization's own connected Stripe account. Payouts land in your bank on Stripe's normal schedule — you can see every transaction, refund, and payout from your dashboard.

Teams, rosters, and coach management

Build teams by season and program, assign players to rosters, and manage coach applications with an approval step before anyone gets access to a roster.

Sponsorship packages that collect themselves

Build sponsorship tiers, and send a sponsor a Stripe checkout link by email. Track every deal from pending to paid to fulfilled without a spreadsheet.

A branded merch store

Sell team gear — shirts, hats, water bottles, and more — directly from your public site, with a photo gallery and its own page for each item and guest checkout. Once an order ships, the buyer automatically gets a confirmation email with tracking info.

Why switch

Why Foley-area leagues are leaving spreadsheets behind

Registration spread across email, paper, and spreadsheets

Guardian info in one inbox, medical forms on paper in a binder, and a spreadsheet nobody's sure is current. Pathfinder puts registration, waivers, and rosters in one system that every board member with access can see the same way.

Chasing payment and reconciling by hand

Cash, checks, Venmo, and the occasional Zelle from six different guardians makes season-end accounting a mess. Online payments through Stripe post automatically, so what's paid and what's outstanding is always current.

No real website, or one nobody can update

A Facebook page isn't a registration system, and a static site built years ago by a volunteer who's since moved on can't be touched. Your board can edit programs, news, and sponsors themselves, any time, with no developer involved.

Sponsor tracking that lives in someone's memory

When the person who signed a sponsor last year moves on, so does the knowledge of what they paid and what they're owed. Sponsorship deals, amounts, and fulfillment status stay in the system, not in one volunteer's head.

How it works

Simple enough for a volunteer board to run

01

Create your organization

An admin signs up, creates the organization, and claims the workspace — this takes a couple of minutes and just needs an email address.

02

Set up your season and connect Stripe

Add your branding, connect a custom domain if you have one, create your season with programs and fees, and connect Stripe so you're ready to collect payments.

03

Open registration and run the season

Publish your site, open registration, and manage the rest of the season — rosters, payments, sponsors, coach applications, and news — from one dashboard.

Built for a volunteer board

Every board member gets the right level of access

Not everyone on your board needs to see everything. Roles are scoped so a coach only sees their own roster, a merch manager only sees the store, and your treasurer can handle payments without needing owner-level access to the rest of the organization.

Owner & association adminFull access to every part of the organization, including member roles and billing.
RegistrarManages registrations, participants, and rosters without needing owner-level access.
Treasurer & billing adminHandles payments, payouts, and the platform subscription.
Coach & assistant coachScoped to their own team's roster — no visibility into other teams, payments, or org settings.
Merch managerManages the merch store — items, photos, and orders — without access to the rest of the dashboard.
ViewerRead-only access for board members who need visibility without the ability to make changes.
Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does Pathfinder Sports Management cost?

Pathfinder is $599 per year plus a one-time $299 onboarding fee. Registration and sponsorship payments carry a per-transaction processing fee of 3.5% + $0.75, which you can choose to absorb or pass through to the payer. There's no cost to browse or set up your organization before you're ready to open registration.

Is Pathfinder Sports Management based in Foley, AL?

Pathfinder is a cloud-based platform used by youth sports organizations across the country, including leagues, recreation departments, and club programs throughout Foley, AL and Baldwin County. There's nothing to install — your board manages everything from a web browser.

Can we use our own domain name for our league website?

Yes. Connect a domain you already own and Pathfinder verifies it via DNS and issues HTTPS automatically. If you don't have a domain yet, your site is still reachable on a Pathfinder subdomain.

How do payments and payouts actually work?

Your organization connects its own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). Registration fees, sponsorship payments, and merch orders are charged directly to that account, and payouts to your bank follow Stripe's normal payout schedule. Pathfinder never holds your organization's funds.

Do you support digital liability waivers?

Yes. Waivers are versioned, so editing your waiver text later never rewrites what a guardian already signed — each signature is permanently tied to the exact wording they agreed to, along with a timestamp.

Can coaches and volunteers have limited access?

Yes. Coaches and assistant coaches only see their own team's roster. A merch manager role can run the store without touching registrations or payments. Owners and association admins control who has which role.

Can we sell team merchandise through the platform?

Yes. Add items with photos and a price, and they're sold directly from your public site with guest checkout — no separate online store to manage. Buyers get an automatic email with tracking info once you mark an order fulfilled.
